Green Computers has released a new version of
EasySQL Deploy, a tool that scripts schema and data for packaging
SQL Server databases as executables for easy deployment and distribution.
EasySQL Deploy provides a simple solution to a common problem: packaging and deploying new
or updated databases, standalone or included within your application kit.
The new version includes enhancements to both user interface and underlying engines.
The user experience is improved:
- to configure the script generation parameters
- to preview the script that will be generated for each selected
object
- wildcards filtering of the SQL objects to be scripted
- a region based SQL viewer to review the generated scripts
EasySQL Deploy guides the users through the next basic steps:
1. Selecting the SQL objects and data to be packaged
2. Scripting schema and data in the correct order, including dependencies
3. Compressing and packaging the scripts as .NET executable
4. Distributing the package for installation by customers and administrators
